While we have traditional visual effects including 2D/3D comp and CG imagery at our core, we also value new opportunities that (Gen)AI can bring to the table. We carefully consider AI driven VFX on a per-project basis and always discuss with our clients if and how we should include AI driven VFX to a project. At De Lodge, we work with humans to create for humans and we will always ensure that any AI driven VFX retains the same high quality that our clients expect as they are made by highly experienced VFX artists with a strong sense of detail, composition and visual language.
While AI driven VFX seem to offer endless possibilities, they can also be very limiting and will highly benefit from a dedicated VFX pipeline and experienced VFX artists that know both its possibilities and its limitations.
